Q: Do I have to commit to a long-term rental contract?
A:

No. We’re so confident you’ll be happy living at The Welstone, there is no long-term rental contract necessary. We keep things simple by offering a month-to-month rental plan with only a 30-day notice required for departures.

Q: Is there a deposit required to reserve a home and is it refundable?
A:

Yes. For those who would like to secure a future home at The Welstone, a refundable $500 reservation deposit ensures the perfect floor plan and location of choice.  This deposit will also go towards your first month’s rent upon move-in. 

Q: Will you provide transportation to my doctor appointments and the grocery store?
A:

Yes. We will provide scheduled transportation Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., to places that fall within a ten-mile radius. You can expect door-to-door service to locations like the doctor’s office, bank or the golf course. Our concierge also arranges trips to the grocery store, Country Club Plaza and popular restaurants. In addition, The Welstone provides rides to program day trips and other outings.

Q: What kind of social activities do you offer?
A:

Our residents look forward to many different opportunities both in and outside The Welstone community. We’ve even created our own special F.U.E.L. (Fun Unexpected Educational Leisure) program. We offer an array of clubs and activities including area day trips, arts and theatre, gardening, crafts, card games, intellectual discussions, lifelong learning, happy hours and much more. We’ll also be sure to discuss your specific interests as well, to ensure we continue to provide activities that suit everyone!

Q: Can I add extra meals to my plan?
A:

Of course! Our goal is to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, you can add as many meals as needed, when needed. We will simply bill your account for the additional meals.

Q: Will you provide menu options for my dietary restrictions?
A:

Yes. We understand the growing needs of those requiring specialized diets such as gluten-free, sugar-free, etc. and our chefs will work with you to provide healthy, delectable options.

Q: Can I invite guests to dine with me?
A:

Yes, we encourage guests at The Welstone and we hope they keep coming back! Your account will simply be billed for their meals. You can even reserve our private dining room for friends and family at no extra cost. In addition, The Welstone can cater meals and parties for a fee.

Q: Can my family members and friends spend the night?
A:

Of course! It is our hope that your loved ones will always feel welcome at The Welstone. Knowing how important your family and friends are to you, they are always welcome to spend the night.

Q: Is The Welstone pet-friendly?
A:

Yes! We know that a pet can be an important member of the family. Your cats or smaller-size dogs (cats or dogs under 25 pounds) are welcome at The Welstone for a nominal deposit.

Q: What happens if my health needs change and I require help on a temporary or permanent basis?
A:

One of the major benefits of living at The Welstone is the peace of mind that comes from knowing there is access to a full range of health care services without having to leave The Welstone campus through Home Health Services. These are available either for short-term or extended periods.

Q: Can I bring my own furnishings to my new home?
A:

We wouldn’t have it any other way!  This is your home and we hope you will enjoy decorating it by bringing the comforts and furnishings of your choice.
